Danchurch National Choir
 

The choir is a picked choir for equal voices from choirs of the Danish Lutheran Church. The choir is giving concerts in and outside Denmark, and the aim is playing a leading role of Youth Choirs in the church and in Danish musical life.

The singers come from all parts of Denmark and are all singers in the choir at their home church. The National Choir is an offer and a possibility for the most talented singers. They meet great challenges, get education, develope their skills and enjoy an exciting fellowship with other choir-members.

The choir-members are between 12 and 20 years old and are admittet through auditions twice af year. The choir meets for rehersals week-ends 5-6 times a year and one week during summer-holiday.

Danchurch National Choir was formed in 2003. The conductor of the Choir, Ole Faurschou is the artistic leader, and from time to time guest-conductors and singing instructors are joining the choir.
